Henderson County Education: 27 Hispanic students enrolled in school districts in 2023-24 school year

There were 27 Hispanic students enrolled in Henderson County school districts in the 2023-24 school year, 42.1% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Data showed that Hispanic students made up 3.6% of the 744 students in the county. They were the least represented ethnicity.

West Central Community Unit School District 235 was the only district in the county which enrolled Hispanic students, welcoming 27 students in the 2023-24 school year.
