2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Henderson County?

There were six offenders released on parole during 2018 that live in Henderson County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Galesburg Reporter.

The data shows that all of the released offenders in Henderson County were men. The median age of the parolees was 38. The youngest parolee was a 26-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2017, and the oldest was a 51-year-old man convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2016.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Bradley K. Sheehan. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2014 when he was 33 years old. He is now 38.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in 2018 in each Henderson County municipality.
