Report: Williamsfield spent $15,703 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Williamsfield Community Unit School District 210 is up 14 percent from five years ago, according to a Galesburg Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Knox County school district spent $13,774 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $15,703 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 309 to 265.

Williamsfield's spending in 2016-17 was 21 percent higher than the state average of $12,973.
