The Western Illinois Leathernecks, featuring former West Central High School standout Shelby Bowman, were defeated 82-51 by the North Carolina Tar Heels in their NCAA Tournament matchup Friday, March 20.
The matchup tipped off at the Dean E. Smith Center at 4:30 p.m.
Bowman finished with two points and one steal in seven minutes of play.
