Warren County taxpayers ranked 53rd in total sales taxes paid per county in November 2024, according to Illinois tax records.

In total, Warren County residents paid $338,813 in sales taxes during November 2024.

Warren County ranked 56th in the Prairie State the month before, with $308,779 spent in sales taxes.

The County School Facility Tax accounted for the largest share of sales taxes paid by Warren County residents in November 2024.

As of 2021, Illinois was the highest taxed state in the US. A study from Wallet Hub found Illinois taxes were 39.83% higher than the national average.
