Central Community Unit School District No. 4 Board of Education met Jan. 9

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

January 9, 2025 A Special Meeting of the Board of Education was called to order by President Troy Meier at 6:29 p.m. on January 9, 2025. The meeting was held at the Board Office in Ashkum, Illinois. 

Roll Call Upon the call of roll, the following members answered present: Meier, Beckman, Able, Henrichs, Koch, Shule, Shule-Whybrew 

Others In Attendance Also in attendance at the Special Meeting were Cathie Pezanoski and Dr. John Palan of Pezanoski Consulting

Approval of Agenda A Motion to approve the agenda was made by Member Shule and seconded by Member Able.

Motion passed without dissent. 

At-Large Board Member Election A motion to approve the Resolution for At-Large Board Member Election Referendum was made by member Shule and seconded by Member Shule-Whybrew.

Aye: Able, Koch, Shule, Shule-Whybrew, Meier, Henrichs

Nay: Beckman Absent: None

Superintendent Search Information was presented to the Board by Cathie Pezanoski and Dr. John Palan of Pezanoski Consulting and an in-depth discussion was held regarding the Superintendent search.

Member Shule left the meeting at 7:45 p.m. 

Adjournment A Motion to adjourn the Special Meeting at 8:19 p.m. was made by Member Able and seconded by Member Beckman.

Motion passed without dissent.
