City of Galesburg Landmark Commission met Aug. 27

Here are the minutes provided by the commission:

MEMBERS PRESENT: Suzanne Klohn, Bob Miener, Deb Sugai, Greta Woolsey, 4.

MEMBERS ABSENT: Mark Martin, 1.

OTHERS PRESENT: Lucas Wood, Exec. Director of Knox-Galesburg Symphony, and Lucas  Brooks, Associate Planner.

Staff declared a quorum was present.

None.

LC-24-0802 Tour 95 N Seminary for P.A.V.E.R. Award nomination

Members took a guided tour of the Knox County Farm Bureau building provided by Executive Director Wood. Topics included the history of the structure and its occupants, the renovation planning process with acoustics and future development in mind, and the efforts by the Knox-Galesburg Symphony to diversify its community impact.

Staff reminded members that the Commission would meet next Tuesday to vote on the P.A.V.E.R. Award nomination for the property.

There being no further business, Member Klohn made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Member Sugai, approved by voice vote. The meeting adjourned at 2:57 P.M.
