There were 4,752 white students enrolled in Knox County school districts in the 2021-22 school year, 0.9% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that white students made up 71.2% of the 6,677 students in Knox County during the 2021-22 school year. They were the most represented ethnicity.

Among the five districts in Knox County, Galesburg Community Unit School District 205 recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 2,230 students.
