i. Regional airport classification - IDOT response on 5/6/2024
ii. RC Event – emailed 2/29/24 for status; submitted to FAA by IDOT on 3/12/2024.
iii. Project Update:
1. ALP: IDOT Agreement approved by Council on 5/6/2024, signed and forwarded to Hanson on 5/8/2024
2. Parking Lot: Pre-design meeting: IDOT & Hanson scheduled 5/16/2024.
3. Fuel Island: Hanson is drafting a design agreement with the city.
c. Airport Maintenance Update (Don Miles)
i. Tree removals (ongoing); moving airport fence (in process).
6. Old/Tabled Business:
a. Status - IDOT Inspection from September 2023 - ongoing
b. AED (defibrillator) purchase through fundraiser (Repp). Equipment ordered 5/9/2024.
c. Discussion of nearby cranes related to Obstruction Evaluation/Airport Airspace Analysis.
7. New Business:
a. Develop plan to meet requirements for classification as a regional airport.
b. Discussion: combining portions of future projects (civil work and utility extensions) for potential cost savings. Include future utility relocation as a part of the fuel island project, if applicable.
8. General Discussion of other Airport Related Topics
