Call to Order/Roll Call
The Community Unit School District #205 Board of Education met for a special meeting on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM at 940 W. Fremont St., Galesburg, IL. The roll was read and the following Members responded: Bess-Tabb, Lyon, Rodriguez, Scherpe, Taylor (5) Absent: Absent: Boettcher, Phelps (2) Roll Call #1
Consider Approval of Emergency Repairs and Replacement of Fencing at Sundberg Field
It was moved by Member Taylor and seconded by Member Scherpe to approve as presented.
Discussion ensued and several questions arose regarding the timeline of repairs, the short notice and cost due to the short notice. On roll call the following Members voted AYE: Rodriguez, Taylor (2) NAY: Bess-Tabb, Scherpe, Lyon (3) Motion failed. Roll Call #2
Adjournment
It was moved by Member Lyon and seconded by Member Taylor that the meeting be adjourned—11:19 AM. On voice vote the following Members voted AYE: Rodriguez, BessTabb, Lyon, Phelps, Taylor (5) Motion carried. Roll Call #3
