How many lawyers in good standing were practicing law in cities in Knox County as of January?

There were 25 lawyers in good standing in cities located within Knox County as of January, according to the ARDC of the Supreme Court of Illinois.

The number of lawyers in good standing remained the same when compared to the previous month.

Data shows that Galesburg was home to all the 25 active lawyers in Knox County during January.

Illinois ranks among the top five states in terms of lawyer-to-person ratio, with approximately five lawyers per thousand residents. This ratio is slightly higher than the national average ratio of four lawyers per thousand residents.

There are 10 cities in Illinois where lawyers make more than the statewide average salary. Chicago tops the list, with lawyers earning nearly $21,000 more than lawyers in other areas of the state.

Data refers to all lawyers who were actively practicing during this period.
