McDonough County Board Road & Bridge Committee met Nov. 2.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

The McDonough County Road and Bridge Committee held their monthly meeting on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 7:00 P.M. The Meeting was held at the McDonough County Courthouse, Courtroom 201. Committee Members present included Chair Dave Cortelyou, Eric Chapman, Mike Cox, George Dixon, Travis Hiel, and Jerry Raby. Vice Chair Craig Foster, and Member Jarad Royer were absent. Other persons in attendance: Dave Cadwalader, Patrick Stout, County Engineer Megan Crook, County Chair Scott Schwerer, and Deputy Clerk Emily Flynn.

Chair Dave Cortelyou called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.

Review Minutes from October 5, 2023

Member Raby moved with a second by Member Hiel to approve the minutes as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.

Approve Resolution for McDonough County Aid to Bridge Funds Project #2230-105

Member Hiel moved with a second by Member Cox to Approve Resolution for McDonough County Aid to Bridge Funds Project #2230-105. Motion carried on a voice vote.

Approve Resolutions for Maintenance Under the Illinois Highway Code 24-00000-00-GM and 24-00000-00-CS

Member Chapman moved with a second by Member Dixon to Approve Resolutions for Maintenance Under the Illinois Highway Code 24-00000-00-GM and 24-00000-00-CS. Motion carried on a voice vote.

Approve Resolution Appropriating Funds for the Payment of the County Engineer’s Salary for 2024

Member Cox moved with a second by Member Raby to approve Resolution Appropriating Funds for the Payment of the County Engineer’s Salary for 2024. Motion carried on a voice vote.

Approve Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement with New Salem Township

Member Hiel moved with a second by Member Raby to approve the Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement with New Salem Township. Motion carried on a voice vote.

Claims

Member Dixon moved with a second by Member Chapman to approve the claims submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.

Other Business

Member Cox asked County Engineer Crook to check into BNSF at Adair.
