The McDonough County Road and Bridge Committee held their monthly meeting on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 7:00 P.M. The Meeting was held at the McDonough County Courthouse, Courtroom 201. Committee Members present included Vice Chair Craig Foster, Mike Cox, George Dixon, Travis Hiel, Jerry Raby, and Jarad Royer. Members Dave Cortelyou and Eric Chapman were absent. Other persons in attendance: Patrick Stout, County Engineer Megan Crook, County Chair Scott Schwerer, and County Clerk Gretchen DeJaynes.
Vice Chair Craig Foster called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.
Review Minutes from September 7, 2023
Member Hiel moved with a second by Member Dixon to approve the minutes as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Discuss New Printer Purchase
County Engineer Crook requested to purchase a large format printer. The Committee gave Crook the authority to purchase the printer that she saw fit.
Work Report
Report given by Engineer Crook.
Claims
Member Dixon moved with a second by Member Royer to approve the claims submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Other Business
The striping has been done, and the new truck was delivered.

Member Cox moved with a second by Member Raby to adjourn the meeting at 7:09 p.m. Motion carried on a voice vote.
