Q3 2022 Recap: 2 parolees from Knox County convicted of financial crimes or fraud set for release

There were two offenders convicted of financial crimes or fraud living in Knox County released on parole during the third quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Galesburg Reporter.

The data shows a man and a woman were among the parolees. The median age of the parolees sentenced for financial crimes or fraud was 34. The younger parolee was a 33-year-old woman sentenced in 2021, and the oldest was a 34-year-old man sentenced in 2022.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Kylie M. Jockisch. She was convicted in 2021 when she was 31 years old. She is now 33.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
