Public Hearing on Waiver of Out-of-District Tuition for Children of School Employees
The meeting will be held in the Kutkat Conference Room of the district office in Williamsfield, IL at approximately 7:03pm, just after the Tuition Waiver public hearing.
1. Meeting call to order by Board President Stewart
2. Roll Call was taken. Tucker present, Wrage present, Strom present, Stewart present, Kutkat present, Bouchez present, Hanson present.
3. Opportunity for public comment
4. Approval of Consent Agenda motion by Hanson seconded by KutKat. All in favor
All items listed under the consent agenda are considered to be routine by the Board of Education and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a board member requests, in which event the item will be removed from the consent agenda and considered individually.
Consent Agenda Items
a. Approval of December bills
b. Approval of minutes of regular Board of Education meeting on November 14, 2022
c. Approval of ISBE Competency-Based Education Plan renewal
d. Approval of ISBE District Consolidated Plan (Title Funds)
5. Discussion and action on 5-year renewal of the out-of-district tuition waiver for the children of school employees. Hanson motioned to approve seconded by Strom. All in favor.
6. Discussion and action on second read of BOE policy updates (see here for list of policies)
7. Administrative report. Motioned by KutKat Second by Bouchez.
8. Enter executive session to discuss student discipline as well as employment and performance of personnel pursuant 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1)
9. Motion to leave executive session made by KutKat seconded by Bouchez. All in favor.
5. Approval to hire Darien Gordan. KutKat moved to approve and Tucker seconded.
10. Motion to adjourn made by Hanson Seconded by KutKat.
