Human Resources and Planning Committee
The Human Resources and Planning Committee met at 7:00 p.m. The meeting was held at the McDonough County Courthouse, Courtroom 201. Committee Members in attendance included Chair Letha Clark, George Dixon, Cindi Helling, Michael Kirby, Rod McGrew, and Dave Nissen. Members Deckle McLean, and Vicky Kipling were absent. Others in attendance included Bonnie Scripps, John Vigezzi, Karen Blakeley, County Chair Scott Schwerer, and Committee Secretary Stacey Alexander.
Chair Letha Clark called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Review and Approve Minutes from September 8, 2022
Member Dixon moved with a second by Member McGrew to approve the minutes as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Animal Control Report
Chair Clark went over the report. There were 17 dogs and 40 cats in the shelter at the end of September.
Humane Society
Bonnie Scripps updated the Committee on the funds that they have received from various fund raisers for the new animal shelter.
Policies and Procedures
Member McGrew made a motion with a second by Member Helling to send the Resolution Allowing Computer Generated Inoculation Forms to the full Board meeting for approval. Motion carried on a voice vote.
GIS Update
No report.
Claims
Member Dixon moved with a second by Member Kirby to approve the claims as submitted. Motion carried on voice vote.
Other
None.
County Board Chair Comments
County Chair Schwerer informed the Committee that Dr. KT Wright passed away, he was a former member of this Committee. The County budget will be out for review, and a Truth in Taxation hearing will be held on October 27th at 5:00 p.m.

Member McGrew moved with a second by Member Helling to adjourn the meeting at 7:44 p.m. Motion carried on a voice vote.
