Williamsfield Community Unit School District Board of Education Aug. 8.
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:00pm in the Kutkat Conference Room of the administrative office. If we are unable to meet in person, the meeting will take place virtually via Google Meet.
The meeting was called to order by Board President Stewart.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Roll Call was taken. Bouchez was absent. Kutkat joined via phone. All other BOE members were in attendance.
There was an opportunity for public comment.
The following Consent Agenda items were approved.
Approval of August bills
Approval of minutes of regular Board of Education meeting on July 11, 2022
Approval of resignation of Sonya Cummings
Approval to hire Jessica Fogerty as full-time certified staff member
Approval to hire Barb Shipley as full-time custodian
Approval to fill the following extra duty assignments:
Joshua Morris - assistant varsity high school volleyball coach
Star Yelm - Core Skill Pathway Lead
Garrett Rau, Ryan Wessling, Jaynee Bowker - Freshman Sponsors
Joe Newman - junior sponsor
Annual approval of membership in Knox-Warren Special Education cooperative
Annual approval of membership in Delabar CTE cooperative
A Finance Committee update was given.
The BOE approved the tentative FY23 Budget and 2022 School Tax Levy draft.
The BOE approved a solar lease & power purchase agreement (PPA) with IEC powered by Future Green under certain price conditions.
The BOE approved updates to the following BOE policies:

4:180 Pandemic Preparedness
5:40 Communicable & Chronic Infectious Disease
6:140 Education of Homeless Children

7:15 Student & Family Privacy Rights

7:270 Administering Medicines to Students
7:285 Anaphylaxis Prevention, Response, & Management
