Mercer County School District 404 Board Building & Grounds Committee met July 11.

Here is the agenda as provided by the committee:

1. New Boston Elementary School

      a. Review and discuss site plan and floor plan

            i. Discuss sketch received from Mr. Bush

      b. Discuss plans for furniture for the new facility

      c. Discuss technology needs for new facility

      d. Fire protection requirements and water service capacity

2. Apollo Elementary School

      a. Board direction - approval to proceed

      b. Review and discuss site plan and floor plan

      c. Discuss plans for furniture for the new facility

      d. Discuss scope of kitchen remodel and equipment needs

3. General Discussion

      a. Project timeline

      b. Sub-committees and decisions for project development

            i. User groups, staff, or others for needs and decisions

      c. Geotechnical exploration (soil borings)

      d. Site Survey (topographic, boundary, and utility)

      e. Storm water detention requirements (New Boston / Aledo)
