Call to Order/Roll Call
The Community Unit School District #205 Board of Education met for a special meeting at 8:00 AM at 932 Harrison St., Galesburg, IL. The roll was read and the following Members responded: Cervantez, Lyon, Scherpe via phone, Bess-Tabb via phone (4) Absent: Rodriguez, Scherpe, Boettcher (3) Roll Call #1
Consider Approval of Parental Transportation Reimbursement
It was moved by Member Lyon and seconded by Member Cervantez to move to approve as presented. On roll call the following Members voted AYE: Bess-Tabb, Scherpe, Cervantez, Lyon (4) Motion carried. Roll Call #2
Consider Approval of Job Description
It was moved by Member Cervantez and seconded by Member Lyon to approve as presented. Member Lyon asked if there would only be one Associate Principal and asked the difference, which would be length of contract. Member Lyon asked for a flow chart of the positions at the Junior/Senior High School. On roll call the following Members voted AYE: Scherpe, Bess-Tabb, Cervantez, Lyon (4) Motion carried. Consider Approval of Personnel Agenda
It was moved by Member Cervantez and seconded by Member Bess-Tabb to approve as presented. On roll call the following Members voted AYE: Lyone, Scherpe, Bess-Tabb, Cervantez (4) Motion carried. Roll Call #4
Consider Approval of Class of 2022 Food Service Account Refunds
It was moved by Member Bess-Tabb and seconded by Member Lyon to approve as presented. Mrs. Hamm stated that these are the remaining funds in the food accounts of the students who just graduated and needs approved to process the refunds. On roll call the following Members voted AYE: Scherpe, Bess-Tabb, Cervantez, Lyon (4) Motion carried. Roll Call #5
Consider Approval of Furniture Package for the 940 Building
It was moved by Member Cervantez and seconded by Member Bess-Tabb to approve as presented. Member Lyon stated his displeasure at the cost of some items. Member Bess-Tabb asked if prices of furniture increased and Mrs. Hamm stated that the increase in charges are for fuel and installation. On roll call the following Members voted AYE: Scherpe, Cervantez, Bess Tabb, Lyon (4) Motion carried. Roll Call #6
Adjournment
It was moved by Member Lyon and seconded by Member Cervantez that the meeting be adjourned—8:18PM. On voice vote the following Members voted AYE: Scherpe, Bess-Tabb, Cervantez, Lyon (4) Motion carried. Roll Call #7
