Call to Order/Roll Call
The Community Unit School District #205 Board of Education met for a special meeting at 8:00 AM at 932 Harrison St., Galesburg, IL. The roll was read and the following Members responded: Bess-Tabb via phone, Boettcher via phone, Cervantez, Phelps, Scherpe, Lyon via phone (6) Absent: Rodriguez (1) Roll Call #1
Closed Session
It was moved by Member Phelps and seconded by Member Cervantez to move to closed session for the purpose appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of an employee(s), negotiations and pending litigation. On roll call the following Members voted AYE: Bess-Tabb, Boettcher, Phelps, Scherpe, Cervantez, Lyon (6) Motion carried. Roll Call #2
Following closed session, it was moved by Member Phelps and seconded by Member Cervantez to move to open session. On roll call the following Members voted AYE: Phelps, Scherpe, Boettcher, Cervantez, Lyon, Bess-Tabb (6) Motion carried. Roll Call #3
Consider Approval of Personnel Report
It was moved by Member Cervantez and seconded by Member to approve the personnel report as presented. On roll call the following Members voted AYE: Boettcher, Cervantez, Lyon, Bess Tabb, Scherpe, Phelps (6) Motion carried. Roll Call #4
Consider Approval of Trip Request
It was moved by Member Phelps and seconded by Member Cervanez to approve Trip Request. Dr. Asplund explained this is for SKILLS USA and that the students will be at the June meeting to be recognized. On roll call the following Members voted AYE: Phelps, Scherpe, Bess-Tabb, Boettcher, Cervantez, Lyon (6) Motion carried. Roll Call #5
Consider Approval of Sitescapes Patio Seating at Lombard Middle School It was moved by Member Cervantez and seconded by Member Phelps to approve the Sitescapes quote for Lombard Middle School and the Jr./Sr. Highschool as presented. On roll call the following Members voted AYE: Scherpe, Cervantez, Bess-Tabb, Boettcher, Lyon, Phelps (6) Motion carried. Roll Call #6
Adjournment
