Fulton County Board Community Development Committee met April 5.

1. Call to Order

Time: 5:00pm

2. Roll Call

Roll call was taken, quorum was present

3. Call for Additions/Deletions to and Approval of the Agenda

Member Bohler moved to approve the agenda with a second from Member Kumer. Motion carried by roll call vote (4-0).

4. Approval of Previous Minutes – March 1, 2022

Member Bohler moved to approve the minutes from March 1, 2022 with a second from Member Kumer. Motion carried by roll call vote (4-0).

5. Announcements, Communications and Correspondence – None

7. Claims/Financial Report

Member Bohler moved to approve the claims with a second from Member Kumer. Motion carried by roll call vote (4-0).

8. Zoning Office Report

Janice Emmons, Zoning Officer reported for the month of March the Zoning Office collected revenue of $3,957.65. Seven construction preliminary inspections were completed and ten final construction inspections completed. There were 100 consultations for zoning matters. With one upcoming subdivision plat.

There is one conditional use permit not renewed and the conditional use permit has been referred to the State’s Attorney.

The Zoning office did not receive any complaints for the month of March.

There were no public hearings for the month of March.

The Community Development office ordered a quantity of paper product supplies from Quill that should maintain office needs through the remainder of 2022. With the uncertainty in supply and demand for paper products, the publication “County News” has indicated there is a potential for a severe paper product shortage this fall.

a. Discussion/Action: Advertising/Hiring for Administrative Assistant for Zoning

Member Bohler discussed the job will be on the Fulton County website and if the Committee does not receive any applications, the job will be run in the newspaper.

Member Bohler moved to adjourn at 5:05pm with a second from Member Kumer. Motion carried by roll call vote (5-0).
