Abingdon-Avon Community Unit No. 276 Board of Education met April 14.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

The special meeting of the Abingdon-Avon CUSD 276 Board of Education was called to order at 6:03 p.m. with Hess presiding. The following members were present: Mason, Brooks, Quinn Thurman, Craver, Serven, and Hess. 

Scheduled Visitors: 

a. John Avery - Supply Works and Schools of Illinois Public Cooperative (SPIC) 

b. Klingner & Associates - Hedding Cafenasium and Avon Middle School Discussions 

c. Kings Financial Consulting Inc. – Possible Financial Options for Building Projects 

A motion was made by Mr. Quinn and seconded by Mr. Mason to approve the agenda. Roll call: Serven yea; Mason, yea; Brooks, yea; Quinn, yea; Thurman, yea; Craver, yea; and Hess, yea. Motion passed. 

A motion was made by Mr. Thurman and seconded by Mr. Quinn to approve the Intergovernmental Agreement - Schools of Illinois Public Cooperative (SPIC). Roll call: Craver, yea; Serven yea; Mason, yea; Brooks, yea; Quinn, yea; Thurman, yea; and Hess, yea. Motion passed. 

A motion was made by Mr. Mason and seconded by Mr. Craver to adjourn at 8:00 p.m. Roll call: Thurman, yea; Craver, yea; Serven yea; Mason, yea; Brooks, yea; Quinn, yea; and Hess, yea. Motion passed.
