On Oct. 18, Dawna E Hoyle purchased a home at 204 E. Main St., Altona from Ruby K. and Edward L. Swedeen for $55,000.

So far in October 2021, this is the only property that sold in Altona as of this publication.

According to the Illinois State Board of Elections, Ruby K. Swedeen (103) has been registered to vote since 1982 and has voted in at least 11 primary elections, records show, including 11 Republican Primaries.

There were no other registered voters living at the residence as of Oct. 10, 2020.
