McDonough County Road and Bridge Committee met Jan. 6.

The McDonough County Road and Bridge Committee held their monthly meeting at 7:00 P.M. The Meeting was held at the McDonough County, Courtroom 201. Committee Members present included Lee Calvert, Eric Chapman, George Dixon, and Dick Marcott. Members absent were Chair Dave Cortelyou and Vice Chair Mike Cox. Other persons in attendance: Dave Cadwalader, County Chair Scott Schwerer, and County Clerk Gretchen DeJaynes.
County Chair Schwerer called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.
Review Minutes from December 2, 2021
Member Calvert moved with a second by Member Chapman to approve the minutes as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Approve Hiring of New Maintenance Employee
Member McGrew moved with a second by Member Foster to send the Resolution Approve Hiring of a New Maintenance Employee to Full Board. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Resolution to Appoint Scott Hance as Acting Engineer
Member Marcott moved with a second by Member McGrew to send the Resolution to Appoint Scott Hance as Acting Engineer to Full Board. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Resolution to Appoint Scott Hance as Authorized Individual to sign Monthly Claims
Member Foster moved with a second by Member Chapman to send the Resolution to Appoint Scott Hance as Authorized Individual to sign Monthly Claims. Motion carried on a voice vote.
2022 Pavement preservation Program Resolution
Member Dixon moved with a second by Member McGrew to send 2022 Pavement Preservation Program Resolution to Full Board. Motion carried on a voice vote.
2022 Pavement Preservation Program Contract
Member Foster moved with a second by Member Chapman to send 2022 Pavement Preservation Program Contract to Full Board. Motion carried on a voice vote.
