The Midwest Conference (MWC) announced its Performers of the Week award recipients for the week of January 31 – February 6, 2022, on Tuesday.
MWC sports information directors nominate student-athletes for the Performer of the Week honor by sport and vote as a committee to select the winners.
For the winter season, Performers of the Week will be recognized every week on Monday (basketball) and Tuesday (swimming & diving, indoor track & field, men's tennis) once their seasons have been triggered (three MWC institutions competing) and will conclude the week prior to the sport-specific Conference tournament/championship.

Derrick Jackson, Knox College
Derrick Jackson broke his own Knox record in the men's 55m (:06.37) in the preliminaries and then ran a :06.38 to earn first place in the finals at the Jim Green Invite at Illinois College on Saturday. He also earned a first-place finish in the 200m (:22.49). Jackson is currently ranked first in the league in 60m and 200m.
