McDonough County Finance Committee met Dec. 9.
Here are the minutes provided by the committee:
The monthly Finance Committee meeting was held at 6:00 p.m. The meeting was held at the McDonough County Courthouse, Courtroom 201 and via zoom. Committee members present were Chair Travis Hiel, Letha Clark, Dave Cortelyou, Dave Nissen, Mike Cox, and Joe Erlandson. Member absent was Vice Chair Larry Aurelio. Others in attendance included County Chair Scott Schwerer, County Clerk Gretchen DeJaynes, Patrick Stout, and George Dixon.
Chair Hiel called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Review and Approve Minutes from November 11, 2021
Member Nissen moved with a second by Member Clark to approve the minutes as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.
MCPT Report Review & Approval
The monthly request for November, 2021 was reviewed. Member Erlandson moved with a second by Member Clark to approve the MCPT Report in the amount of $1,041.00 for November, 2021. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Bushnell Senior Meals Report Review & Approval
The monthly report for November 2021 from the YMCA for transportation of senior meals was reviewed. Member Nissen moved with a second by Member Clark to approve the November 2021 YMCA report in the amount of $1323.03. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Coroner Report
The monthly Coroner Report was received and filed.
Monthly Financial Reports
The monthly Financial Reports were received and filed.
Transfer of Funds
Warrants Issued in Vacation
Member Erlandson moved with a second by Member Clark to approve the Warrants Issued in Vacation. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Insurance Update
Member Clark moved with a Second by Member Cortelyou to change the language. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Approve Appellate Prosecutor Agreement
Member Cortelyou moved with a second by Member Erlandson to send Approve Appellate Prosecutor Agreement to Full Board. Motion carried on a voice vote.
AMEND FY 2021 McDonough County Juvenile Child Protection Data Grant Budget Member Clark moved with a second by Member Erlandson to send AMEND FY 2021 McDonough County Juvenile Child Protection Data Grant Budget to Full Board. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Amendment to AMEND FY 2021 General County Fund Budget
Member Clark moved with a second by Member Cortelyou to send Amendment to AMEND FY 2021 General County Fund Budget to Full Board. Motion carried on a voice vote.
ARPA Fund Action
George Dixon discussed a funding proposal for West Prairie Rural Water District. This will cover the valves, and a portion of install. County Chair Schwerer suggested sending the proposal to Bellweather for approval and resolution. Member Erlandson moved with a second by Member Nissen to send to Bellweather, and Full Board for approval, and resolution. If approved send to Full Board with a limit of $130,000.00. Moton carried on a voice vote.
Approval of Claims
Member Cortelyou moved with a second by Member Clark to approve the Claims as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.

County Clerk DeJaynes discussed the precinct lines
County Board Chair Comments
County Chair Schwerer informed the Committee that the Sexual Harassment training needs to be done by December 31, 2021.
