Rising home prices in Knoxville in the fourth quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2021 in Knoxville rose by $5,750 while total sales decreased by 75%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2021, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $93,000 - a 6.6% increase over the $87,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 12 homes sold in Knoxville in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Knoxville for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,795, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2021.
