Abingdon-Avon Community Unit No. 276 Board of Education met Dec. 15.

The special meeting of the Abingdon-Avon CUSD 276 Board of Education was called to order at 6:04 p.m. with Hess presiding. The following members were present: Thurman, Craver, Serven, and Hess. Mr. Mason, Mr. Brooks, and Mr. Quinn were absent.
A motion was made by Mr. Craver and seconded by Mr. Serven to approve the Agenda. Roll call: Thurman, yea; Craver, yea; Serven yea; and Hess, yea. Motion passed.
Dr. Curry was appointed Presiding Officer for Student Disciplinary Hearing.
A motion was made by Mr. Serven and seconded by Mr. Thurman to go into Executive Session at 6:08 p.m. Roll call: Serven, yea; Thurman, yea; Craver, yea; and Hess, yea. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Mr. Thurman and seconded by Mr. Serven to return to Open Session at 6:19 p.m. Roll call: Craver, yea; Serven, yea, Thurman, yea; and Hess, yea. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Mr. Serven and seconded by Mr. Thurman to approve the Discipline Action upon Student 012021. Roll call: Thurman, yea; Craver, yea; Serven, yea, and Hess, yea. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Mr. Craver and seconded by Mr. Thurman to adjourn at 6:21 p.m. Roll call: Thurman, yea; Craver, yea; Serven, yea; and Hess, yea. Motion passed.
