City of Galesburg Board of Fire and Police Commissioners met Dec. 6.

The special meeting of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners was called to order by Chairman Robert Fulton at 2:21 p.m. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 55 West Tompkins Street, Galesburg, Illinois.
Those present were: Chairman Robert Fulton, Commissioner Thomas Peters, Commissioner Diane VanHootegem, Police Candidate Eryn Pearson and family, Police Chief Russell Idle, Police Deputy Chief Daniel Hostens, City Attorney Bradley Nolden, Police Sergeant Kevin Legate, City Clerk Kelli Bennewitz, Deputy City Clerk Ericka Gugliotta, Knox County Sheriff’s Deputy Christopher Greene and Amanda Jennings, Secretary.
The purpose of the special meeting was to swear-in police candidate Eryn Pearson.
There being no further business, a motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Commissioner VanHootegem and seconded by Commissioner Peters. Chairman Fulton declared the meeting adjourned at 2:35 p.m.
