State Sen. Win Stoller (R-Germantown Hills) recently made a stop in Rock Falls to hear from voters about their ideas, thoughts, and concerns during a regional listening tour.
Stoller shared pictures from the event on his official Senate Facebook page.
"Thank you Senator Neil Anderson for having me at his Regional Listening Tour Town Hall at the Rock Falls Chamber," Stoller wrote in a Nov. 12 Facebook post. "It was great to meet with such passionate people and discuss issues important to them."
Stoller honored veterans on Nov. 11 with a statement on his Facebook page.
"Today, we celebrate and give thanks for the brave men and women of our armed forces who answered the call to serve and defend our nation," Stoller posted on Facebook. "Our country's veterans have fought and sacrificed to protect our freedoms. These Americans are the truest definition of heroes."
In October, Stoller accused Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D) of ignoring what the people of Illinois wanted when crafting the state's legislative redistricting maps, Rock Island Today reported.
“It's not deja vu you're having,” Stoller said in an October Facebook post. “Gov. Pritzker did sign politician-drawn legislative maps. He has now broken his promise to the people of Illinois twice. By signing the maps today, the Governor effectively ignored the will of the people.”
Stoller opened a new district office in Geneseo on Sept. 14, Rock Island Today reported.
Stoller represents one of the state's largest geographic Senate districts and was "beyond excited" to have a new office that would allow his staff to provide constituents the services they need in a conveniently located office space in Henry County.
