Q2 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Warren County?

There were three offenders living in Warren County released on parole during the second quarter of 2021, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Galesburg Reporter.

The data shows all of the released offenders in Warren County were men. The median age of the parolees was 32. The youngest parolee was a 21-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2019, and the oldest was a 45-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2018.

The offender incarcerated the longest was Edward J. Willett. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2018 when he was 42 years old. He is now 45.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the second quarter of 2021 in each Warren County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
