Fulton County Board Executive Committee Met July 7.

1. Call to Order

2. Roll Call

Roll call was taken, quorum was present

3. Call for Additions/Deletions to and Approval of Agenda

Member Kessel moved to approve the agenda with a second from Member Spangler. Motion carried by roll call vote (6-0).

4. Approval of Previous Minutes – June 2, 2021

Member Kessel moved to approve the June 2, 2021 minutes with a second from Member Spangler. Motion carried by roll call vote (6-0).

5. Announcements, Communication and Correspondence – None

9. Reports from Committee Chairs

a. Ad-Hoc Committee for Reapportionment

Chairman Clark reported a draft resolution and reapportionment plan will be on the Fulton County Board meeting with the recommended changes by the Ad-Hoc Reapportionment Committee; 15 Fulton County Board members with five coming from each of the three districts. The per diem per meeting will raise from $25.00 to $60.00 per day and the chairman per diem will be $7,500.00 per year and each per diem will be paid quarterly plus mileage.

Currently the census information is not available and is expected sometime in September or October 2021. The census information will help determine the district boundaries for Fulton County.

b. Community Development

Member Bohler discussed the Sam Rogers subdivision was approved at the Community Development meeting.

One re-appointment and two appointments to the Zoning Board of Appeals were approved.

c. Finance/Insurance

Member Spangler discussed budget work is being done and work on ARPA Funds is being discussed on what the funds could be used.

d. Health

Member Kessel discussed two reappointments to the Fulton County Board of Health. The employee insurance, HRA and audit fees are being discussed about being incorporated in the Health Department budget for FY22.

e. County Highway

Member Madson discussed Highway 2 has two additional culvers to be replaced.

Discussion was had regarding Tonya retiring in May 2022 and hiring her replacement to be trained.

f. Property & Courts

Member Arnett discussed the Property committee is working on the FY22 budget.

g. Personnel & Legislative

Chairman Clark reported Personnel & Legislative approved several appointments.

h. Public Safety & Campground – None

i. Liquor

Chairman Clark reported the Liquor Commission Committee has one class C liquor license for the Fulton County Fair to be approved.

Member Kessel moved to adjourn at 6:59pm with a second from Member Arnett. Motion carried by Roll call vote (6-0).
