Knoxville Community Unit School District #202 Board of Education Met May 3.
Here is the minutes provided by the board:
The Board of Education of Community Unit School District #202, Knox County, met in a special meeting duly called and held beginning at 5:59 p.m. at 809 East Main Street, Knoxville, Illinois, which is within the boundaries of said District. The President called the meeting to order and directed that the roll be called. Upon roll being called, the following members were found to be present:
Mr. Ericson, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Lenz, Mrs. McCracken, Mrs. Myers, Mr. Stearns and Mr. Callahan
And the following absent:
Also present were: Joe F. Burgess Jr., Kelli Nelson, Jenn Walter, Geoff Schoonover, Darcy Young, Ryan Scalf
5. Public Comments - Kelli Nelson read a letter from Meredith Crouse to Mr. Callahan.
6. Recognition of Outgoing Board Members- Mr. Burgess handed out plaques to Mr. Ericson, Mr. Lenz and Mr. Callahan, thanking all of them for their years of service.
7. Adjournment
There being no further business to come before the Board, it was moved by Member Ericson and seconded by Member Lenz that the meeting be adjourned Sine Die. The President put the question to the Board and the motion unanimously carried and the meeting so adjourned at 6:06 p.m.
