Census Bureau: 81.8 percent of people in Oquawka were old enough to vote in 2019

Of the 1,452 citizens living in Oquawka in 2019, 1,188 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 620 of those people were female and 568 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
