Barry Fisher, Farm Bureau President discussed the proposed resolution and requested a delay not all farmers have a had a chance to speak.
Name: April Tatham
Address: Avon, IL
Topic: Proposed CAFO (Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations).
April Tatham is a resident of Lee Township and is a concerned citizen against the hog operation. April gave a presentation regarding the loss of land value that is near or around CAFO’s (Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations).

Member Medus moved to approve the claims with a second from Member Berry. Motion carried by roll call vote (4-0-1) with Member Madson abstaining to vote.

a. Discussion/Action: Landfill Lease Opening Bids
Member Arnett discussed the bid received from Muddy Creek Whitetail to the Property Committee. Member Arnett stated a second bid received late and was unsigned.
Member Medus moved to approve the Hunting and Landfill Lease Bid for Muddy Creek Whitetail with a second from Member Madson. Motion carried by roll call vote (5-0).
a. Discussion/Action: Approve lease for landfill – Tabled
b. Discussion/Action: Geographic Name Proposal recommendation to name unnamed
stream to Emmons Creek in Woodland Township and Kerton Township.
Member Medus moved to approve the Geographic Name Proposal recommendation to name unnamed stream to Emmons Creek in Woodland Township and Kerton Township, with a second from Member Berry. Motion carried by roll call vote (5-0).
c. Discussion/Action: Foth Infrastructure & Environment, LLC – Landfill Walkthrough
Proposal, cost not to exceed $2,650.00.
Member Madson moved to approve the Foth Infrastructure & Environment, LLC proposal, cost not to exceed $2,650.00 with a second from Member Berry. Motion carried by roll call vote (5-0).
d. Discussion/Action: Resolution: Concerned Fulton Farmers & Citizens
Member Madson moved to approve the resolution with a second from Member Berry. Motion carried by roll call vote (3-2) with Members Madson and Platt voting nay.
