McDonough County Board Finance Committee Met April 14.

The monthly Finance Committee meeting was held at 6:00 p.m. The meeting was held at the McDonough County Courthouse, Courtroom 201. Committee members present were Chair Travis Hiel, Letha Clark, Mike Cox, Joe Erlandson, and Dave Nissen. Members absent were Vice Chair Larry Aurelio, and David Cortelyou. Others in attendance included County Chair Scott Schwerer, County Clerk Gretchen DeJaynes, Keith Krohe, and Patrick Stout.
Chair Hiel called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Review and Approve Minutes from March10, 2021
Member Nissen moved with a second by Member Clark to approve the minutes as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Insurance Update
Keith Krohe gave the update.
MCPT Report Review & Approval
The monthly request for March 2021 was reviewed. Member Erlandson moved with a second by Member Clark to approve the MCPT Report in the amount of $1,275.00 for March 2021. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Bushnell Senior Meals Report Review & Approval
The monthly report for March 2021 from the YMCA for transportation of senior meals was reviewed. Member Nissen moved with a second by Member Erlandson to approve the March 2021 YMCA report in the amount of $976.67. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Coroner Report
The monthly Coroner Report was received and filed.
Monthly Financial Reports
The monthly Financial Reports were received and filed.
Transfer of Funds
None
Warrants Issued in Vacation
Member Clark moved with a second by Member Erlandson to approve the Warrants Issued in Vacation. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Approval of Claims
Member Clark moved with a second by Member Erlandson to approve the Claims as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Adjourn to Executive Session Pursuant to Chapter 5, Illinois Compiled Statutes Section 120/2 © (1) (2) and (11) for Litigation
Member Nissen moved with a second by Member Clark to enter Executive Session Pursuant to Chapter 5, Illinois Compiled Statutes Section 120/2 © (1) (2) and (11) at 6:20 pm. Motion Carried on a roll call vote of 4 yeas, 0 nays, 0 pass, and 2 absent. Member Erlandson moved with a second by Member Clark to exit executive Session Pursuant to Chapter 5, Illinois Compiled Statutes Section 120/2 © (1) (2) and (11) at 6:49 pm. Motion carried on a roll call vote of 4 yeas, 0 nays, 0 Pass, and 2 absent.
Member Erlandson moved with a second by Member Nissen to respond to Correspondence with no settlement.

County Board Chair Comments
County Chair Schwerer discussed The Reapportionment using the estimated numbers.
County Chair Schwerer informed the Committee of a COVID-19 clinic at WIU on April 15th on a walk-in basis. Chair Schwerer also informed the Committee that the Severs family is allowing MDH and the McDonough County Health Department to use the Old Farm King building for a mass vaccination site.
