McDonough County Board ESDA & Claims Committee Met March 16.

The ESDA & Claims Committee held its monthly meeting at 7:00 p.m. The meeting was held at the McDonough County Courthouse, Courtroom 201. Committee Members present were Chair Dave Nissen, Vice Chair Julie Melvin, Larry Aurelio, Letha Clark, Ken Durkin, Joe Erlandson, Craig Foster, and Dick Marcott. Also present was ESDA Director Edgar Rodriguez, Patrick Stout, County Board Chair Scott Schwerer, and County Clerk DeJaynes.
Chair Nissen called the meeting to order at 7:13 p.m.
Approval of February 16, 2021 Minutes
Member Foster moved with a second by Member Durkin to approve the minutes as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.
ESDA Director Report
Director Edgar Rodriguez gave the report. Director Rodriguez informed the Committee that 9,616 McDonough County Residents have received their COVID-19 vaccines of which 4,063 are fully vaccinated with their two doses.
Approval of Committee Claims
Member Foster moved with a second by Member Aurelio, to approve the Committee claims as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Resolution 2021 Amend FY 2021 McDonough County General County Fund Budget Member Durkin moved with a second by Member Foster, to approve the Resolution 2021 Amend FY 2021 McDonough County General County Fund Budget. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Board Claims
Member Marcott moved with a second by Member Foster to approve the Board claims as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Other
County Board Chair Comments
County Chair Schwerer informed the Committee that he and Director Rodriguez toured the drive through at MDH.
Chair Schwerer also informed the Committee that the County will be receiving around $5.8 million dollars in stimulus money.

Member Clark moved with a second by Member Foster to adjourn the meeting at 7:42 p.m. Motion carried on a voice vote.
