McDonough County Board ESDA & Claims Committee met Nov. 17.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

Chair Nissen called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Approval of October 20, 2020 Minutes

Member Durkin moved with a second by Member Foster to approve the minutes as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.

ESDA Director Report

Director Edgar Rodriguez gave the report. He reported that the State will be going back to Tier 3 effective November 30, 2020.

Member Melvin asked Ben Thompson why the Health Department has not been providing daily updates. Thompson said that Health Department Director, Lynette Cale has made that decision. Melvin also asked why the Health Department is not being monitored every day. Member Durkin asked if there have been any repeat infections of Covid 19, Thompson said there has not.

Approval of Committee Claims

Member Hiel moved with a second by Member Durkin, to approve the claims as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.

Approval of Board Claims

Member Foster moved with a second by Member Melvin, to approve the claims as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.

None.

County Board Chair Comments

County Chair Schwerer discussed Tier 3, and explained the Health Department’s Budget.

Adjourn

Member Hiel moved with a second by Member Foster to adjourn the meeting at 8:00 p.m. Motion carried on a voice vote.
