McDonough County Finance Committee met Nov. 11.

The monthly Finance Committee meeting was held at 6:00 p.m. The meeting was held at the McDonough County Courthouse, Courtroom 201. Committee members present were Chair Travis Hiel, Vice Chair Larry Aurelio, Letha Clark, Dave Cortelyou, Mike Cox, Rod McGrew, and Dave Nissen. Others in attendance included Patrick Stout, County Chair Scott Schwerer, and County Clerk Gretchen DeJaynes.
Chair Hiel called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Review and Approve Minutes from October 14, 2020
Member Nissen moved with a second by Vice Chair Aurelio to approve the minutes as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.
MCPT Report Review & Approval
The monthly request for October 2020 was reviewed. Member Clark moved with a second by Vice Chair Aurelio to approve the MCPT Report in the amount of $2,442.00 for October, 2020. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Bushnell Senior Meals Report Review & Approval
The monthly report for October 2020 from the YMCA for transportation of senior meals was reviewed. Member Cortelyou moved with a second by Member McGrew to approved the October 2020 YMCA report in the amount of $764.86. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Coroner Report
The monthly Coroner Report was received and filed.
Monthly Financial Reports
The monthly Financial Reports were received and filed.
Transfer of Funds

Warrants Issued in Vacation
Not Available.
Chris Pumo with Pumo Insurance to Review Insurance
Pumo discussed all of the coverage that the County receives. They had to change carriers for the Elms as auto owners will no longer cover senior care. Pumo believes we will only see an approximate 8% increase in premiums next year.
Approve Tuition Reimbursement for Morgan Werkheiser
This was tabled until the December meeting. Chair Hiel will find out more information on this.
Approve FY 2020 Budget Resolutions
Committee discussed Budget Resolutions to be moved to the full Board meeting.
Approval of Claims
Member McGrew moved with a second by Vice Chair Aurelio to approve the Claims as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.

County Board Chair Comments
County Chair Schwerer handed out the McDonough County Health Departments budget. Schwerer would like everyone to consider a 2% salary increase. The full Board meeting will be held via zoom instead of in person.
