Fulton County Board Executive Committee Met September 2

Fulton County Board Executive Committee met Sept. 2.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

1. Call to Order

Time: 6;48pm

Members:

Steve Bohler (xxxxxx/absent)

MEDIA:

1. Roll Call

Roll call was taken, quorum was present

2. Call for Additions/Deletions to and Approval of Agenda

Member Clark moved to approve the agenda with a second from Member Deushane. Motion carried by roll call vote (7-0).

3. Approval of Previous Minutes – August 11, 2020

Member Murphy moved to approve the minutes from August 11, 2020 with a second from Member Clark. Motion carried by roll call vote (7-0).

4. Announcements, Communication and Correspondence

Chairman O’Brian asked that all committee chairs get a conference call in number for the meetings that they chair. If any of the committee chairs need assistance, please contact Cindy Simpson the Fulton County Board Administrative Assistant.

5. Public Remarks – None

6. Old Business

a. Discussion/Action: Hanna City Trail

Chairman O’Brian advised the committee the Ad-hoc committee has wrapped up the meeting and will have a full report at the Fulton County Board meeting.

Member Kessel moved to approve the Hanna City Trail with a second from Member Murphy. Motion carried by roll call vote (7-0).

7. New Business – None

8. Reports from Committee Chairs

a. Community Development – None

b. Finance/Insurance

Member Spangler reported the Finance committee received two proposals from agents and this will be discussed at the September 8th Finance meeting.

Chris Helle- Director of ETSB discussed the CURES Act Funding for Fulton County and this is a local governmental assistance program.

Clerk Bankert discussed the Election Grant for postage to mail the upcoming ballots by mail.

Clerk Bankert also discussed the Election day holiday that was passed by the governor and this includes all government offices.

c. Health

Member Kessel advised Covid testing is still being done and the Clayberg is still see negative results.

Bids are being received for the garage roof at the Clayberg.

A resolution for an employee that will retire with 20years of service will be presented at the Fulton County Board meeting.

A second stimulus payment was received by the Clayberg.

Trudy Williams spoke and stated the Clayberg nursing staff is outstanding and is very professional with the Covid testing of the Courthouse employees.

d. County Highway

Member Clark discussed County 34 has been completed. The Troy Chisum signs are in for County Highway 5. Engineering work is being done on County Road 15 and engineering work is being done on County Road 2.

e. Property & Personnel/Courts

Member Thompson reported the only items moving to the Fulton County Board meeting are two appointments. The Landfill has some work with rezoning and work to be done before the sale of the landfill can take place.

f. Public Safety & Campground

Member Deushane discussed an infrastructure loan for the Fulton County Campground. Sheriff Standard will give an update on the jail project.

Member Kessel moved to adjourn at 7:15pm with a second from Member Thompson. Motion carried by Roll call vote (7-0).
