Q1 2020 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Henderson County?

There were four offenders released on parole during the first quarter of 2020 that live in Henderson County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Galesburg Reporter.

The data shows that three men and one woman were released in Henderson County. The median age of the parolees was 34. The youngest parolee was a 26-year-old woman sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2017, and the oldest was a 45-year-old man sentenced in 2018.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Kelsey R. Gilmour. She was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2017 when she was 23 years old. She is now 26.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the first quarter of 2020 in each Henderson County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
