1. Call to Order 4:24pm
2. New Business
2.1 3dEZRouting
- The District has recently been utilizing the 3dEZRouting program and has been pleased with it’s capabilities and possibilities. Jody O’Leary believes the program will be a great asset to the district.
- The program can plan bus routes, limit the number of students on busses, re- route busses, contact parents on bus times, monitor what students are on busses (If key pads and student ID’s are issued), etc.
- We currently have 2 tablets for program monitoring, one for the Johannes Bus Service and one for the Mercer County Bus Service. More tablets may be purchased if the program proves to be a success.
2.2 Return to Learn
a. Capacity Limits - Bus capacities will be limited to 50 students per bus. The Aledo town stops may have to be eliminated for students 6th grade and above due to capacity limits. The Seaton bus route may have too many students along with some of the Aledo/Joy shuttle routes. (bus routes will be discussed at a later date prior to the start of school)
b. Shuttles and Town Stops – The shuttle routes may have to be increased and some town stops may have to be eliminated for older students due to the bus capacity limit of 50 students.
c. Screening (Temperature checks and Symptoms) - Parents may be responsible for doing a “self check” of students for symptoms of illness. Students will wear masks on the busses and bus drivers/bus monitors will take temperatures of the students as they get on each bus. (Bus route times may vary or the school day start time may have to be pushed back.)
d. Bus Monitors – Additional bus monitors will be needed for taking temperatures, etc. The district may utilize paraprofessionals as bus monitors.
3. Old Business
3.1 Bus Barn Options – The bus barn bids/construction has been put on hold due to financial uncertainty and results from the feasibility study.
3.2 Activity Bus/Transit Van – Vehicles seem to be operating fine aside from one battery issue which will be resolved before the start of the school year.
3.3 Bus Driver Attraction and Retention – The drivers, and Union, agreed to the MOU Signing bonus for future drivers.
4. Adjourn 5:41
