Media Stronghurst Terre Haute Fire Protection District responded to five calls in 2018 - 44.4 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Mediaronghurst Terre Haute included four fires - one structure fire, one vehicle fire and two other fires.

The department also received one false call.
