Henderson Fire Protection District responded to 14 calls in 2018 - 6.7 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Henderson included eight fires - two structure fires, one vehicle fire and five other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $20,000 in fire loss - or about $2,500 per fire.

The department also received five false calls.
