Victoria-Copley Fire Protection District responded to nine calls in 2018 - 10 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Victoria-Copley included seven fires - one structure fire, two vehicle fires and four other fires.

In all, the department saw $31,000 in fire loss - or about $4,429 per fire.

The department also received two false calls.
