Knoxville Community Unit School District 202 Board of Education met June 2.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

The Board of Education of Community Unit School District #202, Knox County, met in a special meeting duly called and held at 6:00 p.m. at 809 East Main Street, Knoxville, Illinois, which is within the boundaries of said District. The President called the meeting to order and directed that the roll be called. Upon roll being called, the following members were found to be present virtually:

Mr. Ericson, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Lenz, Mrs. McCracken, Mrs. Myers, Mr. Stearns and Mr. Callahan

And the following absent:

Also present were: Steve Wilder, Joe Burgess

It was moved by Member Ericson and seconded by Member Johnson to go into Closed Session at 6:03 p.m.

Roll call vote was as follows:

AYE: Mr. Ericson, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Lenz, Mrs. McCracken, Mrs. Myers, Mr. Stearns and Mr. Callahan

NAY: None

Whereupon the President declared the motion carried.

It was moved by Member Ericson and seconded by Member Johnson to go back into Open Session at 6:46 p.m.

Roll call vote was as follows:

AYE: Mr. Ericson, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Lenz, Mrs. McCracken, Mrs. Myers, Mr. Stearns and Mr. Callahan

NAY: None

Whereupon the President declared the motion carried.

It was moved by Member Ericson and seconded by Member Myers for Approval of Non-Certified Wages for the 2020-2021 School Year.

Roll call vote was as follows:

AYE: Mr. Ericson, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Lenz, Mrs. Myers and Mr. Callahan

NAY: None

ABSTAIN: Mrs. McCracken, Mr. Stearns

Whereupon the President declared the motion carried.

It was moved by Member Stearns and seconded by Member Ericson for Approval of Certified Salaries for the 2020-2021 School Year as presented and discussed in Closed Session.

Roll call vote was as follows:

AYE: Mr. Ericson, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Lenz, Mrs. McCracken, Mrs. Myers, Mr. Stearns and Mr. Callahan

NAY: None

Whereupon the President declared the motion carried.

It was moved by Member Myers and seconded by Member Johnson for Approval of Administrator Salaries for the 2020-2021 School Year as presented in Closed Session.

Roll call vote was as follows:

AYE: Mr. Ericson, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Lenz, Mrs. McCracken, Mrs. Myers, Mr. Stearns and Mr. Callahan

NAY: None

Whereupon the President declared the motion carried.

It was moved by Member Lenz and seconded by Member Johnson for Approval of Resignation of KJHS Social Studies Teacher Adam Mize.

Roll call vote was as follows:

AYE: Mr. Ericson, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Lenz, Mrs. McCracken, Mrs. Myers, Mr. Stearns and Mr. Callahan

NAY: None

Whereupon the President declared the motion carried.

Adjournment

There being no further business to come before the Board, it was moved by Member Ericson and seconded by Member Lenz that the meeting be adjourned. The President put the question to the Board and the motion unanimously carried and the meeting so adjourned at 7:16 p.m.
