McDonough County Road and Bridge Committee met June 4.

The McDonough County Road and Bridge Committee held their monthly meeting at 7:00 P.M. The meeting was held via Zoom call. Committee Members present included Chair Trevor Toland, Vice Chair Dave Cortelyou, Rod McGrew, Mike Cox, Dick Marcott, Marcia Twaddle, Ken Durkin, and George Dixon. Other persons in attendance: Rick Walker, Patrick Stout, County Chair Scott Schwerer, and County Clerk Gretchen DeJaynes.
Chair Trevor Toland called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.
Review Minutes from May 4, 2020
Member Cox motioned to approve minutes as submitted by committee, with a second by Member McGrew. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Adair Update 20-00000-00-PV
Engineer Walker presented report on Adair project.
08-00103-00-BR Update
Member Marcott motioned to apply for grant through WIRC, Member Cox seconded. Motion carried on a voice vote.
08-000103-00-BR Resolution
Member McGrew motioned to approve resolution 08-000103-00-BR, Member Durkin seconded. Rock down on 700th Road, waiting on oiling agreement from Township Oiling crew. Engineer Walker would like to use Rebuild Illinois Money for this project. Motion carried on voice vote.
Member Marcott motioned to proceed to spend $400 to apply for a grant through Representative Hammond’s office for Adair Project, grant is in the amount of $75,000, Member Cox seconded. Motion carried on a voice vote.

Report given by Engineer Rick Walker.
Claims
Member McGrew moved with a second by Member Durkin to approve the claims submitted. Member Twaddle did ask about a claim for rock hauling. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Other Business
County Chair gave an update on Covid-19 tests and numbers.
Adjourn
With no further business to discuss, Member Cortelyou moved to adjourn the meeting, second by Member Durkin at 7:42 p.m. Motion carried on a voice vote.
