McDonough County Elms/Building & Grounds Committee met May 12.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

The Elms/Building and Grounds Committee met at 7:00 p.m. The meeting was held via Zoom Call. Committee members in attendance included Vice Chair Marcia Twaddle, Lee Calvert, Terra Litchfield, Bob Mahr, Paul Trimmer, Dave Cortelyou and Deckle McLean. Committee Chair Larry Aurelio and Member Dave Cortelyou were absent. Others in attendance included County Board Chair Scott Schwerer, Elms Administrator Tim Bledsoe, McDonough County Sheriff Nick Petitgout, Chief Deputy Adam Cremer Patrick Stout and County Clerk DeJaynes.

Vice Chair Twaddle called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Farm Report

No Report.

Administrator’s Report

Elms Administrator Tim Bledsoe gave the report. Census is at 71, with 8 being Medicare A, 0 Medicare B, 18 private pay, 2 Hospice Private, 3 Hospice Medicaid, 39 Medicaid. ADC 67 and Turnover percentage is 12.37%. Agency hours, 8 and Agency Cost, $256. Medicaid owes $285,698.30. Medicare owes $296,587.56. In April admissions: Home 0, Nursing home 1, Assisted Living 0, Acute Care Hospital 1 and Private 2. April discharges: Home 2, Funeral Home 2, Group Home 0 Acute Care Hospital 0, Assisted Living 2.

Financial Report

Member Litchfield moved with a second by Member Mahr to approve the March 2020 Financial Reports. Motion carried on a voice vote.

Elms Claims

Member McLean moved with a second by Member Trimmer to approve the Elm’s claims as submitted. Motion carried with a roll call vote of 6 yeas, 0 nays, 0 vacant and 2 absent.

Macomb Public Building Commission

County Chair Schwerer let the Committee know they got the new locks at the jail.

Building and Grounds Claims

Member Trimmer moved with a second by Member Mahr to approve the March Building and Grounds Claims. Motion carried on a voice vote.

Other

Member McLean noted there was a correction to be made on Chad Wilson’s time sheet, needed to be corrected and sent to the committee.
