McDonough County ESDA & Claims Committee met May 19.

Here is the agenda provided by the committee:

The ESDA & Claims Committee held their monthly meeting at 7:00 p.m. The meeting was held via Zoom. Committee Members present were Chair Dave Nissen, Vice Chair Letha Clark, Joe Erlandson, Dick Marcott, Julie Melvin, Ken Durkin and Trevor Toland. Also present was Patrick Stout, ESDA Director Edgar Rodriguez, County Chair Scott Schwerer, and County Clerk Gretchen DeJaynes.

Chair Dave Nissen called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Approval of April, 2020 Minutes

A meeting was not held in April due to COVID-19. There are not any minutes to approve.

ESDA Director Report

Director Edgar Rodriguez gave a report. Rodriguez attended a week long Incident Command Training hosted by McDonough District Hospital regarding operations at the hospital for COVID-19. He discussed the emergency operations center and what their main priorities are, and the weekly meetings they are holding.

Approval of Finance Claims

Member Durkin moved with a second by Member Clark to approve the claims as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.

Approval of Claims

Member Marcott moved with a second by Member Clark to approve the claims as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.

Approval of Prepaid Claims for the Months of April and May, 2020

Member Durkin moved with a second by Member Toland to approve the claims as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.

Other

Member Durkin moved with a second by Member Marcott to adjourn the meeting. With no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned at 7:37 p.m.
