Farmers And Mechanics Bank issued the following announcement on June 16.
Farmers & Merchants Bank has a deep relationship with the YMCA and YWCA, dating back to the early 1900s when Carrie Walker, wife of founder C.J. Walker, helped to found the YWCA USA in Long Beach, providing shelter to homeless women in the nearby communities.
Last Thursday, F&M Bank President W. Henry Walker presented a donation to Jeff McBride, YMCA OF ORANGE COUNTY President and CEO, at the Peterson YMCA in Huntington Beach in appreciation for their commitment to childcare in our communities.
